Spiced Pumpkin Black Tea is one of our most popular fall tea flavors and tastes like autumn in a tea cup with its warm spices and full-bodied tea flavor. This gorgeous blend contains black tea leaves with lemon peel, clove, cinnamon bark and a sprinkling of candy pumpkin shapes. A perfect cup to start the day or for a moment of escape on a crisp autumn afternoon.

Spiced Pumpkin Black Tea is excellent served hot. A bit of sugar enhances the spices and citrus flavor in this tea. Milk may also be added when served hot. This tea makes a lovely lat-tea when milk is steamed and whipped. See serving suggestion below.

To prepare  Spiced Pumpkin Black Tea, measure one heaping teaspoon of tea leaves per one cup water. For more intense flavor, measure two generous teaspoons of leaves per cup of water. Infuse 3-5 minutes. Due to the inclusion of black tea leaves,  Spiced Pumpkin Black Tea may be infused a second time, although flavor will be lighter.

Spiced Pumpkin Lat-tea
2 teaspoons of Spiced Pumpkin Black Tea loose leaves
1 cup filtered water
1-2 teaspoons sugar, optional
1/3 cup milk, whole milk is best

Place tea leaves in your preferred infuser (remember to use an infuser large enough to allow the tea leaves to unfurl when steeping). Bring water to a boil and immediately pour over infuser into clean, tempered mug or pot. Allow tea to infuse for 3-5 minutes. Remove infuser, add sugar if sweetening, and set tea to the side.

Heat milk either on stove top or in the microwave to the point of simmering, stirring often. Remove from heat once the simmering milk begins to release steam. Using a handheld frother or immersion blender, whisk the milk until it increases in volume and takes on a frothy (tiny bubbles) appearance. 

To assemble, simply pour the prepared tea into a cup or mug. Slowly, pour frothed milk on top of the tea. Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon or freshly grated nutmeg. Serve immediately.

Ingredients in Spiced Pumpkin Black Tea: black tea, lemon peel, clove, cinnamon bark, pumpkin shape decorettes (sugar, rice flour, vegetable oil, corn starch, gum arabic, dellulose gum, yellow 6, confectioner's glaze, carrageenan, soy lecithin, artificial flavor), natural and artificial flavor. CONTAINS: soy (in the pumpkin sprinkles).

Store Spicked Pumpkin Black Tea in a cool, dry place away from bright light for up to one year. This tea is a seasonal tea flavor and will only be available through the end of November.
