Buckingham Palace Garden Party Black Tea is a lovely tea inspired by the Queen’s annual garden party held every spring in the west gardens of Buckingham Palace. This tea makes a fragrant, flavorful cup that features notes of Ceylon Earl Grey and soft jasmine with a hint of malty Assam black tea. Blue cornflowers are added for color and beauty. Buckingham Palace Garden Party has a medium body, bright flavor and a golden copper color in the cup. It is an excellent afternoon tea.
Buckingham Palace Garden Party Black Tea is excellent served either hot or iced. Adding milk and sugar, or preferred sweetener, to taste is optional, but very traditional.
To prepare Buckingham Palace Garden Party Black Tea, measure one rounded teaspoon of tea leaves per one cup water. Infuse 3-5 minutes. For a more brisk cuppa, infuse up to 7 minutes. To prepare iced tea, infuse six rounded teaspoons in two cups filtered water for 5-7 minutes. Add sweetener to hot tea. Add additional two cups of filtered water and two cups of ice. Enjoy served over ice in a cup. Due to the inclusion of black tea leaves, Buckingham Palace Garden Party Black Tea may be infused a second time, although flavor will be lighter.
Store Buckingham Palace Garden Party Black Tea in a cool, dry place away from bright light.
